It’s natural to be a little nervous the first time you see a new dentist. A lot of people are a little nervous every time they see the dentist – and we understand that. No one really enjoys having all those tools poking around their teeth and gums, but we do our best to make each appointment a positive and comfortable experience.
If you’re coming here for the first time, you can make things go a little quicker by filling out all the necessary forms beforehand. We make that a little easier with downloadable PDF forms on our site. Just follow the link. Bring any insurance cards you may have.
It’s also a good idea to make a list of any concerns you may have, as well as any treatment goals, both short- and long-term. Definitely write the list down – you don’t want to forget anything!
During the first appointment will do a thorough exam to assess the state of your teeth and gums. We will probably recommend taking X-rays. Our hygienist will give you a good cleaning.
